As morning brings a new day to Sun-Crest Point, Ray catches a walking Bart and, pulls him aside. Disgusted by the sight of Ray, he tells him he can go suck an egg, not only did ge play him for a fool but, Janet as well. However, Ray pleads with Bart to keep his blackmail of Chloe a secret, he know he won't fair well in jail! Bart tells Ray he is still mulling it over but, decides that sometimes the best punishment is revenge. Bart then tells Ray that if he wants his silence, he needs him to do something, seduce Donna! As saul and, Donna awaken, Saul is alerted by a call from Janet that she has married to Blake. When Saul hears the news he is less than pleased, knowing Blake is the prime suspect in a series of on-going cases. Donna makes her concern known as well but, is still pre-occupied by the disappearence of her own daughter. However, Saul tells Donna he has an investigate reporter as well as a police officer looking in Chloe's departure, he assures her that he will find her.
Karen shocks Arnold by arriving at his house, bright and early. She says that she wanted to go with him to take Jane to her first day of school. However, it becomes clear that she is truly there to discuss Jake. Yet, Arnold is on edge, worried Karen knows about his romp with Mae. She then shows her vulnerable side and, tells Arnold that she needs him to speak to Jake, he is the only father he has ever known. Arnie agrees to speak with Jake but, tells Karen he sides with Jake, though she has made some tought choices, her latest series of decisions haven't been the best. After dropping their daughter off at school, Arnold heads out to find Jake, while Karen heads over to the restaurant, when she enters she finds Ben busy at work and, Mae who quickly enters. Mae then asks Karen if Arnold told her, Karen asks Mae what she is talking about and, Mae then tells Karen that she and Arnold slept together! Kurt goes into the hospital and, finds Thea, she quickly runs to him and, says that she doesn;t agree with his assesment on Clark Deveraux.
Derwood comes into work with his sister and, quickly fawns over Sydney. When Amanda arrives, she is almost too nervouse over the news of her ex-husband's arrival to care about Derwood. Then Candi comes into work, now Editor-In-Chief and, does not hesitate to make her dominance over Amanda known but, she quickly notices Amanda's mood and, being generous asks her what is wrong. Mary Ann heads over to Karen's for some breakfast when she gets a phone call from Felicia Maycourt, Mary Ann asks how her boys are doing but, it becomes clear something is wrong and, when the call ends, Mary Ann sighs, to her surprise Winston is behind her and, he asks her what is wrong. At HAlcoyn and Howl, George calls Tanya, warning her that she needs to watch out for Mary Ann, he didn;t anticipate her return, let alone that Winston and she would actually retain feelings for one another. Tanya says that she feels the mission is already a failure, with DeDe after her. Then, George tells Tanya not to worry about DeDe but, to focus on staying Mrs. Halcoyn for a while longer.
As Cleo prepars for her first day of work, Aggie stops her and, tells her that she knows about Ray, is Cleo being serious? Cleo tells Aggie that George Snyder and she used to be engaged and, now his sudden re-appearence in her life isn;t exactly pleasant so, maybe Ray is just what she needs right now, maybe he is the one. Aggie tells Cleo she should be careful, leading Cleo to snap back at her sister telling her she knowsnothing of romance, is that why she is trying to save her ex-boyfriend, while dating someone else?! Cassidy and, Hank both decide to spend the day together and, it begins with Hank taking Cassidy out for a nice long breakfast and, then a walk through the park. Ralph and, Sandra decide to go and, visit Olivia ad, when they arrive to see her, she pulls them inside and, asks them what they know about adoption. Puzzled, Olivia explains she has met a troubled Teen, Brandon, who has no one and, no home... she wants to take him in, adopt him... he can be the child she has always desired!
When they come into work, Travis tells Franky that his assignement from the Mayor is one to be kept silent, the cops to personal favors but, not often and, they don't want the press to find out about it, bad publicity. Franky agrees and, asks Travis who Herb Colson is, he left a message for him, something about how he i will be arriving in town this afternoon. Janet arrives at Jasper's and, surprises him. She hugs him and says he must be so relieved that she is now out his hair, what with her new husband and all. Yeah about Blake, Jasper doesn;t want Craig around him. Janet snaps back that Balke is a nice guy and, that JAsoer should be happy for him, he has never liked her! Jasper says that he has a special place in his heart for Janet and, he doesn;t want her or their son in harms way. He is sure blake is pleanty nice but, until he is cleared of hese charges it would be best Craig stayed with he and, Candi. Then there is a knock at the door, when Jasper goes to answer it both he and Jaet are shocked to see.... James standing there!!
