Story[]
As dawn breaks upon a new day in Sun-Crest Point, Mae, Escobar, Agatha and Isaac are awakened by a knocking at their door. Escobar runs downstairs and opens it to welcome his mother, Lucia! Mae and Agatha then arrive downstairs and welcome Lucia back to the neighborhood, for her brief visit. Lucia then introduces everyone to her fiance, Carter Irving. It is clear that Carter comes from money and that he is a sucessful business man. Mae then takes Lucia upstairs to see Isaac, as Aggie gets ready and rides her bike to school. Escobar is then given some time alone with Carter and begisn to question him about his past. It is revealed that Carter himself is a widower and has a son named Ethan, who will be swinging by for a visit in a while. Escobar then becomes blindsightened when Carter mentions he and Lucia marrying while they are in town, something that makes Escobar un-easy. Mae introduces Lucia to Isaac, she is eccstatic to meet her grand-child, but tells Mae that she also thinks of Aggie as her grand-daughter as well, the two then hug.
After spending an entire afternoon and night simply being physical with each other, Karen asks John if he wants something serious... because she CAN see herself having a future with him. He is shocked as he is used to Alicia bringing him down and telling him how he was never around to be a dad to Candi. Karen then tells John that she thinks that he might be THE ONE. Reggie and Harry had spent the evening together but not being intimate but catching up and remembering old times. Harry then mentions to Reggie and asks what it is like to live in the same town with his ex-wife. Reggie tells Harry that even though he is gay, he did and still does love Catherine just not in a husband/wife kind of way. Harry then tells Reggie that he is worried that his presence in town may cause Catherine to go over the edge again, after all she doesn't have a steady man in her life at the moment and she is now jsut owning up to her criminal ways. Reggie reassures Harry that Catherine will be just as happy for them as he would be for her if she ever fell in love again.
Ralph arrives for his first day as Power Broker of Halcoyn Communications and walks into his office to discover his half-brother, Winston, and Rosanna. Rosanna tells Ralph that she knows he doesn't want thins and that if he willingly relinquishes his desire to be Power Broker than Winston can attain the position. Ralph tells the two that he understand but seeing as it wat his father's last wish that he serve as Power Broker of the business, he wants to give it a shot. Rosanna becomes furious and tells him that Winston was his first born and only real child. Winston tells his mother to stop it and that eh understands. He wishes Ralph good luck and tells him he will see him in the afternoon meeting about their finances. Ralph then begins to hunt for a new secretary since Lila has taken Marylin and fled town with all of Will's money. He is shocked when Mae walks through his door. He asks her about the baby and she explains that Escobar can watch Isaac from home as he paints at home, and that she has receptionist expierence. He then hires her on the spot.
Daria, Roxy, Sandra and Haley spend the day putting the final touches on the wedding. Sandra asks Daria if they should push the event back since Ralph's father has just passed away. Daria laughs that such a celebration like a wedding seems appropriate in her book. Roxy then gets a call from Richard who asks her to come to the station. Upon her arrivalRichard asks her into his office and he closes the door. He then proceeds to put numerous advances on her. Roxy rejects all of them and berates him for his deplorable behavior and she then tells him that she knows he is only flirting with her in hopes of getting over Cassidy, who he is in love with. She then leaves but not before filing a complaint with the Chief of Police. Cassidy watches the whole event from her desk, while on the phone with Jasper. Alicia and Catherine then go out on the prowl for men to meet and come up with nothing. Catherine then tells Alicia that after seeing Reggie and HArry so happy and together, made her severely depressed. Alicia then suggests that they should then break them up, if it will amke them feel better.
As Winston heads into his meeting, Mary Ann arrives and tells him that she is pregnant. Winston looks on in utter shock and awe. She is deeply saddened when he appears upset and agry as he already has two children. Mary Ann then reminds him that he barely sees DeDe and that derwood is already a teenager. He tells her that he will love the child and care for it, but he is not too pleased with the news. Rosanna returns to the news station and finds Arnold who asks her how her meeting with Ralph went. Arnold begins to notice that Rosanna's anger for William is causing her mood to becomes erratic and advises she cool down. She tells him she just needs to be alone. Arnold then leaves and lets her be. Candi is then revealed to have accepted Luke's offer to go on a date and all day at the news station he flirts and fiddles with her telling her how he can't wait to sweep her off her feet. Donna then arrives at the Reyes home and Lucia notices her behavior around Escobar and can't help but feel Donna is over stepping some serious boundaries.
